Québec City, Capital City of the Province of Quebec, was founded in 1608 and is said to be the oldest city in North America!. Built on the shores of the magnificent St. Lawrence River, it was once described as being the “Gibraltar of North America”. Cobblestone streets, sidewalk cafés, its living history and much more combine to make this a musical travel destination “par excellence”! The Québecois “joie de vivre” (love of life) may be felt at every corner as you explore one of the most important historical cites in North America. The beauty of this city is second to none. Old Québec was voted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site not to be missed. If you think it is Europe, you are 2000 miles too far?

Deluxe or Economy???

All of the packages have the same inclusions. The only main difference is the choice between our Economy or Deluxe Packages. In our deluxe package you will stay in an up-scaled 4-star hotel such as the Loews Le Concorde & receive a complete buffet breakfast. In our Economy package you will stay in a fine 3 star hotel such as the Hotel Gouverneur Quebec with daily continental breakfasts. For a few dollars more you may also opt to modify the breakfast at the latter. Our objective is to make all of our destinations accessible & affordable to every group while maintaining the educational and musical value of each trip we offer!

Music Is What It's All About!

No matter where you stay or what your package includes, the quality of the musical experience remains the same for all. Everyone receives the same Rhythms International quality musical experience. Our educational adjudications are second to none offering you one full hour on stage per music division participating in our festivals. Each adjudication site has three judges present. During your hour on stage, two of the three judges present for your performance will get on stage and work with your group in a clinic format. You will receive comment sheets and audio recorded comments from the three judges along with a video tape of your performance and the. You will also receive a flag of the destination you are visiting along with a letter from the mayor thanking you for coming. Finally, your group will get a beautiful Rhythms International plaque with your group’s name inscribed on it. We pride ourselves on the quality of our festivals and the many years of experience we have in delivering a most impeccable program assuring you of a most memorable experience.

    Travel Portion Inclusions

  • Detailed itinerary and special director’s travel packet
  • Professional escort/guide to stay with you and your group throughout your trip
  • Lodging in the hotel of your choice for the duration of your choice
  • A private security guard every night for added security and to let the chaperones sleep!
  • Breakfasts daily according to your choice
  • All Dinners including the Semi-formal Banquet
  • Dinner & Dance with the Awards presentation
    Guided tour of your destination
  • A day activity included every day according to your final itinerary (i.e.: museum, visit of a special attraction, amusement park etc..)
  • A night activity included every night (i.e.: evening cruise, show etc..)
  • All applicable taxes
  • Gratuities (tips) on all meals included in package
  • One free trip in any occupancy except single for every 20 paid participants.

Festival Portion Inclusions
  • Special Director’s Festival Manual explaining the event
  • Registration of two (2) separate divisions of your choice to be adjudicated in the festival (prices for extra divisions available)
  • A private warm-up room for one hour prior to your performance
  • One full hour on stage for your adjudication
  • Three judges present for your performance
  • Special musical clinic workshop conducted by the adjudicators on stage with you and your group.
  • Adjudications may or may not be rated according to your choice.
  • Extensive list of instruments included on stage: 4 tympani, a concert bass drum, chimes, xylophone, basic trap set, a piano, music stands and chairs.
  • Standard Choral risers for Choral groups
    Judges recorded vocal tapes during your performance along with written comment sheets.
  • A videotape of your hour on stage including workshop
  • One elegant awards plaque per performing group with your groups name and division engraved on it
  • A flag of the destination you visited to hang proudly in your music room
  • A letter from the mayor of your destination thanking you for your visit.
